Day 1 Down

The summer season has officially begun! Today was our first day of LIT and it was a huge success! We have a great group of kids this year. This is one of those rare years where we were able to get out in the ocean on the first day.  Hopefully these warm water conditions last throughout the summer. We also took the opportunity to discuss ocean, water, and wind conditions. Great job today and we look forward to another tomorrow!

Summer is Approaching!

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all have had a wonderful winter and are preparing for this upcoming summer season!  I know I am!  This year we have some great things in store for our LIT’s and B-LIT’s and we are really looking forward to seeing you all soon!  Just a few reminders here to make sure you get your LIT/B-LIT application in by our May 1st deadline.  It is quickly approaching!  This year you MUST have your physical form completed before you take your swim test.  Lastly, make sure you get in the pool and start preparing early for the swim test.  May 7th will be here before you know it and we want all of our applicants to pass!  I can’t wait to see you all soon!!

Trying Something New

Every year we try something new in order to enhance our program. At the end of the 2015 summer we were thinking about how to spread more information about our program and also to get information out to LIT’s and B-LIT’s more efficiently when the schedule changes. As a way to do that, we decided to develop our own LIT website that is linked to from the main beach patrol website. This page is where we are planning to post any changes to our daily/weekly schedules or new tournament information. Please check this page regularly to see if there are any changes, especially on rain days. Thanks!
